Yogini On A Plane
I wish I were one of those people. One of those people who travels like a pro; who deftly lies down in the middle aisle at 10,000 kms and gracefully stretches out into a cool Hanumanasana before dabbing lavender oil on their pulse points, wrapping their hand-painted linen scarf around their shoulders and drifting off into a state of meditative bliss even while folded in half.
It seems even after a shortish flight of only a few hours I’m not one of those people. I got off the plane in Nadi sore, hot and grumpy as hell. (Bit like when we drive across town then, quipped my soon-to-be ex.) Then we drove and drove and drove and I got out of the car in Suva sore, hot and grumpy as hell. (Nobody quipping now, I notice.)
Thankfully my hideous mood seems to have quite gone now I’ve been fed and coffee-ed and stretched myself out. All of which is to say that although The Yoga Connection is not at the usual destination we remain at your beck and call. Just how you like it.
Any events and listings will be dealt with as usual. And we’re always contactable. (That shouldn’t be a word, it sounds wrong…)
Tomorrow I’m hoping to practice my yoga in the middle of an organic sugar plantation and right now I’m going to go and sit by the pool and drink something with an umbrella.
So, you know, don’t be contactable-ing me right this minute…
